About Marvel's Wolverine

Marvel's Wolverine is a single-player action-adventure game by Insomniac Games, published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PS5 on 15 September 2026. The official PlayStation page says it is not available on PS4, and it is not set in an open world. Three years after walking out on his team, Logan rejoins the mutant task force Team X in their darkest hour, while the billionaire industrialist Bolivar Trask uses the Reavers, a cybernetic militia, to capture mutants.

Combat is built around Rage: according to the PlayStation Blog, every successful attack, parry and kill builds it, and Rage powers stronger attacks and Logan's Healing Factor. When badly hurt he can spend Rage on a Last Stand. Techniques such as Tornado Spin and Bull Rush, Critical Strikes (alone or with an ally such as Jean Grey) and stealth ambushes round out the moveset.

Metacritic lists 75 out of 100 for PS5 from 147 critic reviews, and 66% of critics on OpenCritic recommend it. Reviewers praised Liam McIntyre's Logan, the visuals and the brutal takedowns; several found the combat repetitive over a full playthrough.
