This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar browser storage ParryStack uses and why. We only use what is necessary to run the site and the features you choose. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. "localStorage" is similar browser storage that websites can read only from your own device. Necessary cookies and storage do not need consent (§ 25(2) TDDDG).

Cookies

ParryStack Community (only if you sign in or create an account)

• wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*: keep you signed in. Deleted when you sign out; expire after 2 days, or 14 days if you choose "Keep me signed in".
• wordpress_test_cookie: checks that your browser accepts cookies when you sign in. Session.
• psc_li: tells our static pages that you are signed in, so they can show your notifications. Contains no personal data. Same lifetime as your sign-in.
• ps_kd: security "known device" cookie set after a successful sign-in, so that this browser can still sign in to your account while someone else is trying to guess your password. Contains only a signed code, no password. 1 year.
• psc_flash: shows a one-time message after an action (for example "Saved"). Expires after at most 60 seconds.

Merch shop (only on shop pages)

• woocommerce_*, wp_woocommerce_session_*: remember your shopping cart. Session / 2 days. Payment pages may set Stripe security cookies for fraud prevention.

Browser Storage (localStorage)

• ps_saved, ps_saved_guides: your saved games and guides. If you are signed in to the community, they are also kept in your account (with ps_saved_ops, psc_saved_merged and psc_saved_synced to sync changes).
• ps_progress_*: your guide and walkthrough progress. Stays on your device.
• ps_recent: recently viewed games. Stays on your device.
• psc_draft_*: unsent community post drafts, so you don't lose text. Removed when you post.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4 runs in Consent Mode with analytics storage denied, so it does not set analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and does not read or store anything on your device. Google receives cookieless measurement pings that we use only in aggregated form. See our Privacy Policy.

Embedded Videos

Game trailers are embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). According to YouTube, it stores information on your device only once you play a video.

How to Control Cookies and Storage

You can delete cookies and site data for parrystack.com in your browser settings at any time; you will then be signed out and your locally saved items will be removed from that device (items saved in your community account stay). On the Saved page you can clear saved games, guides and history on this device.
