Terms of Service

These Terms apply to your use of parrystack.com ("the Site"), including the optional ParryStack Community at parrystack.com/community. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

Use of the Site

You may use ParryStack for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or reproduce our content without explicit written permission
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or to other people's accounts
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Interfere with the operation of the Site or its servers, or use automated tools to create accounts, posts or votes

Content Ownership

All original editorial content on ParryStack — reviews, guides, walkthroughs and articles written by ParryStack — is the intellectual property of ParryStack. Game titles, cover art, screenshots, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for editorial game coverage, review and guide purposes.

Posts by community members are the members' own content (see below) and are not ParryStack editorial content.

ParryStack Community

1. Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. One person, one account.
• Keep your password secret. Tell us at contact@parrystack.com if you think your account was misused.
• Usernames must not impersonate ParryStack staff or other people.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy & data.

2. Your content and the licence you give us

• You keep the copyright and all other rights in what you post.
• So that we can run the community, you give ParryStack a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display and make your content available on parrystack.com, in its search and in notification emails, and to adapt its format (for example layout, excerpts and previews) for that purpose.
• The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except (a) where other members quoted it in their own posts, (b) copies we must keep for legal reasons (see the Privacy Policy), and (c) backups, which are overwritten in the normal cycle.
• ParryStack may feature a player guide; it stays credited to you. We never turn your post into ParryStack editorial content without your permission.
• Only post content you have the right to post. Do not copy guides or text from other websites, books or videos.

3. Rules

You agree to follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, do not post illegal content, hate speech, harassment, threats, spam or scams, other people's personal data, malware or sexual content, and mark story spoilers.

4. Moderation, restrictions and your rights

• Automatic checks may hold posts for review; a person decides.
• We may remove or hide content, lock discussions, or restrict, suspend or close accounts that break the law or these rules. We tell you which content or account is affected, what we did, why (the facts and the rule or law involved) and whether it was based on a report or an automatic check, unless the law prevents us (statement of reasons, Art. 17 Digital Services Act).
• You can ask us to review a decision within 6 months using the appeal link in your notification. A moderator or administrator reviews it again, where possible someone other than the person who decided first. You may also use a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or go to court.
• Anyone, also without an account, can report content they believe is illegal at parrystack.com/community/report. We confirm receipt and inform the reporter of our decision.
• Accepted answers are chosen by the member who asked; ParryStack does not verify them. Player content is the opinion of its author, not of ParryStack.

5. Changes and ending the community

We may change or end the community. If we close it, we will give at least 30 days' notice and a way to download your data, unless we must act faster for legal or security reasons.

Copyright Notices

If you believe content on ParryStack infringes your copyright, report it at parrystack.com/community/report (for community posts) or email contact@parrystack.com with: a description of the copyrighted work; the URL of the material; your contact information; and a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised. We will review it and remove infringing content promptly.

Prices and Availability

Game prices are sourced from third-party services and may not reflect real-time store prices. Always confirm the final price at the retailer before purchasing.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper use of the service possible and on which you may regularly rely), limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise our liability is excluded. The Site and the community are free services; we do not guarantee that they are always available or error-free.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by German law. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live remain unaffected. If you are a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is München, Germany.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will show the date of the last update above; for significant changes to the community terms we will inform members by email or a notice on the site before they take effect.
