Every month we spotlight the tips our community voted most useful. These 10 earned the most upvotes — real strategies from players who beat the boss, found the build, or broke the game.
Don't stay on one weapon for more than 2-3 hits. Style rank drops immediately if you repeat moves — constantly cycle between swords, guns, and abilities.
The Draupnir Spear's Realm Shift runic attack creates a free combo window on almost every boss in the game. Spam it when you unlock it.
Watch the endemic life when entering a monster area — birds flying away, small creatures fleeing tells you exactly which direction the monster is before your map populates.
The Focus Strike — your wound-exploit move — deals 20-30% of a monster's total health in one hit on a major wound. Save it for high-value body parts like the head.
The Sandevistan cyberware (slow-motion) combined with a katana build is the most fun build in the game. It lets you clear entire rooms in slow motion with blade kills.
Build around one color stat. If you're running Brutality (red), take primarily red weapons and skills — the damage multiplier from stat-matching is what makes builds explode.
Titan Blood is your most important endgame resource. Save it for unlocking Weapon Aspects — the Aspect of Arthur (sword), Aspect of Chiron (bow), and Aspect of Lucifer (rail) are the strongest.
The Shaman Stone + Quick Slash + Mark of Pride charm combo is the highest damage output available for most of the game. These three charms form the strongest general-purpose build.
Peter's Symbiote Surge (L1+L3 during Symbiote mode) deals massive AOE damage and is your best tool against groups of heavily armored enemies. Save it for dense encounters.
Use the Control Type: Modern option for learning characters conceptually before committing to Classic inputs. Modern removes some tools but teaches you character gameplan quickly.
