Resident Evil Requiem: Walkthrough & Boss Guide

This is a story overview of Resident Evil Requiem's four main locations with notes on seven boss fights. It is not a full walkthrough: puzzle solutions, item locations and the exact chapter breakdown are not covered, and guides disagree on the boss order. Grace Ashcroft, an FBI analyst, investigates deaths among Raccoon City survivors caused by T-virus mutations known as Raccoon City Syndrome. The condemned Wrenwood Hotel is where Grace's mother, Alyssa, was murdered eight years earlier, and Grace finds her data disk here. Grace's sections are survival horror: she is not proficient in combat, evades threats, solves puzzles, and manages limited inventory slots. She can throw glass bottles to distract enemies. On Standard (Classic) or Insanity difficulty, she saves at typewriters using ink ribbons.

Grace is abducted by former Umbrella scientist Victor Gideon. Leon S. Kennedy, a DSO agent who has Raccoon City Syndrome, arrives and escapes with her to the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center, where Victor infects staff and patients. Leon's sections are action-oriented, with firearms, takedowns and a hatchet with limited durability that can parry attacks. Grace frees Emily, a blind girl, who is gravely wounded in the escape. Grace kills the Girl with daylight; Emily then mutates, and Leon seemingly kills her. PCGamesN places the Chunk fight in the clinic hallways and attic and the Girl fights in the Water Treatment Plant.

In the ruins of Raccoon City, where the Resident Evil 2 police station is among the landmarks, Zeno reveals that the 1998 missile strike was ordered by the Connections to conceal Elpis, Oswell Spencer's bioweapon. He takes Grace to the ARK. PCGamesN places the Titan Spinner fight shortly after Leon arrives in Raccoon City.

Inside the ARK, Elpis is protected by a fail-safe password. Oswell's interviews, recovered from Alyssa's disk, reveal that Grace was adopted as an infant and is not a clone; she deduces the password is "hope". Grace unlocks Elpis, which is an antiviral, and uses it to cure Leon. Victor kills Zeno, activates the ARK's self-destruct, mutates into a Nemesis-like monster and dies to Leon. Chris Redfield's BSAA Hound Wolf Unit rescues them. Afterward Grace adopts a cured Emily.
