Affiliate Disclosure
Effective Date: May 22, 2026
ParryStack.com (“ParryStack”) is an independent gaming editorial website. We believe in full transparency with our readers, so this page explains exactly how we earn money and how that may — or may not — affect the content you read.
What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a special tracking URL provided by an online retailer or service. When you click one of these links and make a qualifying purchase, ParryStack earns a small commission from that retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you had navigated to the store directly — you never pay more because of our link, and the commission comes out of the retailer’s marketing budget, not your pocket.
Where Affiliate Links Appear
Affiliate links may appear in:
- Deals pages — game discounts, bundles, and seasonal sales we highlight.
- Review pages — “Buy Now” or “Check Price” buttons beneath a review.
- Guides and tips — links to DLC, season passes, or recommended accessories mentioned in a guide.
- News articles — links to pre-orders or newly announced titles.
Whenever a page contains affiliate links, we include a visible disclosure notice at the top or bottom of that page so you always know before you click.
Affiliate Programmes We Participate In
ParryStack currently participates in affiliate programmes from the following platforms and retailers:
- Steam (Valve Corporation) — PC game purchases and DLC.
- GOG.com (CD Projekt) — DRM-free PC games and retro titles.
- Green Man Gaming — PC game keys and bundles.
- Humble Bundle — game bundles and the Humble Choice subscription.
- PlayStation Store (Sony Interactive Entertainment) — PS4/PS5 games and add-ons.
- Xbox / Microsoft Store (Microsoft) — Xbox and PC Game Pass titles.
We may add or remove partners from time to time. This page will be updated to reflect any changes.
Does This Influence Our Reviews?
No. Affiliate commissions have zero influence on our review scores, editorial recommendations, or the games we choose to cover. Our review process is entirely independent:
- We do not accept payment from publishers in exchange for a positive review or a specific score.
- Reviewers are not aware of — nor influenced by — which version of a game generates the highest affiliate commission.
- Games we recommend are games we genuinely believe are worth your time and money.
- We are equally happy to link to a platform where a game earns us no commission if that is the best deal for you.
FTC Compliance
In accordance with the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), we disclose our affiliate relationships clearly and conspicuously. This disclosure also complies with EU consumer protection regulations, including Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practices.
Sponsored Content
On rare occasions we may publish content that has been sponsored by a game publisher or developer. Any such content is always clearly labelled “Sponsored” or “Advertisement” at the top of the article. Sponsored placement fees do not influence our editorial opinions expressed elsewhere on the site.
Questions?
If you have any questions about our affiliate relationships or would like to flag a link that is not properly disclosed, please contact us. We take transparency seriously and will respond promptly.
